XBOX 360 SLIM MOST LIKELY TO BE RELEASED WITH NATAL

A couple days ago we alerted you about rumors concerning the picture released of an Xbox 360 mainboard possible crafted for the Xbox 360 slim. To date, Microsoft has not denied these rumors nor commented on them, and with Natal approaching it is very possible they are working on something behind the scenes. The mainboard looks a lot like the motherboard for the Xbox 360. This new main board contains a chip that combines the central processing unit, memory controller hub, and graphics, making it less expensive to produce than the current Xbox 360. The single chip model is smaller, slimmer, and more power efficient. Sony manufactured the PS3 Slim at a cheaper price than that of the normal PS3. Microsoft could very likely be borrowing the idea, and they may be planning to release it with Natal to keep the Xbox 360 at a reasonably low price even with a new piece of equipment on the market. XBOX 360 SELLS FOR $3,050 ON EBAY

As the price tag would suggest, this is not a normal Xbox 360 and as you may have guessed it's got a story behind it which could actually make it the first piece of political gaming memorabilia out there. The Xbox was auctioned off on eBay by the city of Baltimore and is the console that helped kick the then-mayor Sheila Dixon out of office. The 360 was seized from Dixon's home in 2008 after allegations of embezzlement and it turned out that she actually bought the console with gift cards which were meant for the poor - what a saint. A jury later found her guilty and she resigned from office on 4th February this year and was ordered to carry out 500 hours of community service.
